The scene visualises a sacred path leading to an ancient shrine, nestled deep within a vibrant, deciduous forest - a spiritual gateway bathed in the warmth of the setting sun.
The compositional focal point is the imposing Torii gate and worn stone steps, inviting the viewer to ascend toward the temple grounds. To emphasise this, ethereal cyan "foxfire" lighting was utilised for the stone lanterns to contrast against the fiery oranges and deep reds of the maple canopy above. This complementary colour balance reinforces the narrative of a threshold between the mortal realm and the spirit world, grounded by the falling leaves and shifting light.

β€ ππ§π π’π§π: Unity 6 (URP)
β€ ππ’π©ππ₯π’π§π: A hybrid modelling workflow was utilised. While some hero assets were modelled from scratch, other environmental meshes were manually manipulated and geometrically edited to refine silhouettes and fit the sceneβs specific composition.
β€ πππππ«π’ππ₯π¬: To achieve the stylised, painterly aesthetic, specific textures were hand-painted to override default assets. Custom shaders were also developed to animate the falling foliage and create the spectral glow of the lanterns.
β€ ππ’π π‘ππ’π§π : Mixed Lighting (Baked Global Illumination) paired with Reflection Probes to ground the geometry. Depth was achieved using volumetric fog and "god rays," carefully tuned to blend the warm sunlight with the cool, magical accents of the shrine.

β€ 3D Assets: Constructed via a blend of custom models and curated asset packs. Key elements were geometrically altered and re-textured (hand-painted) to unify the art style and achieve a cohesive material response across different asset sources.
